Kaff-DM Syrup is a combination of Dextromethorphan, Chlorpheniramine Maleate (CPM) and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride formulated for the symptomatic relief of cough, runny nose, sneezing and nasal congestion associated with common cold and related upper respiratory conditions.

Dextromethorphan helps suppress cough, Chlorpheniramine helps relieve allergy-related nasal symptoms, while Phenylephrine helps reduce nasal congestion.

Directions for use:

Use strictly as directed by the healthcare professional. Measure the prescribed quantity using the supplied measuring device. Do not exceed the prescribed dose or duration of treatment.

Do not combine with other cough, cold or antihistamine medicines unless advised by a healthcare professional. Dextromethorphan should not be used with MAO inhibitors or within 14 days of stopping an MAO inhibitor because of potentially serious interactions.

This fixed-dose combination shall not be used in children below 4 years of age.

Storage and Safety Information:

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
Store according to the temperature specified on the product label.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Chlorpheniramine may cause drowsiness or sedation; caution is advised with activities requiring alertness.
Do not use for a persistent or unexplained cough without medical evaluation.
Seek medical attention if cough persists, worsens, or is accompanied by breathing difficulty, high fever or other concerning symptoms.
Fixed-dose combination shall not be used in children below four years of age. This warning is required for FDCs containing Chlorpheniramine Maleate and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride in India and should also appear in the product's promotional literature.
