Job brief
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and target-oriented Territory Sales Executive to drive sales and business growth within an assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for promoting the company's pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, developing strong relationships with doctors and chemists, ensuring product availability, and achieving assigned sales targets.
Responsibilities
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
Regularly visit doctors, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other healthcare professionals as per the defined call plan.
Promote and detail the company's pharmaceutical products to doctors in a professional and scientifically appropriate manner.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, chemists, distributors, and stockists.Monitor product movement and identify opportunities to improve sales within the territory.
Develop new customers and expand the company's doctor and customer base.
Conduct regular market visits and identify new business opportunities.Submit timely daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Area Sales Manager.Ensure proper implementation of the company's ethical marketing and promotional practices.Coordinate with the Area Sales Manager and other internal teams to address market requirements and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
0–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales. Freshers with strong communication and sales aptitude may also be considered.
Prior experience as a Medical Representative (MR) will be an advantage.
Good understanding of pharmaceutical sales and the healthcare market.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to confidently communicate product information to healthcare professionals.
Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and selling skills.
Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
Good knowledge of the assigned geographical territory and local healthcare market.
Ability to work independently and as part of a field sales team.
Basic proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and sales reporting applications.
Willingness to undertake regular field travel within the assigned territory.
Strong professional ethics, discipline, and integrity.
